I knew the starting salary was not that big, but it’s still great that so many people with such a degree find a job. I live in Brazil and will be applying for a student visa in a couple of months and I will most likely be aiming to get a mathematics degree if I get my visa!Reply ↓Mike Ward, M.Ed., Post authorJune 25, 2020at 9:58 amHello, Beatriz. A math degree will pay you well in your career both here in the USA and when you go back to your home country in Brazil. It’s considered a STEM degree, which our country is spending extra money trying to get more students to select one of these degrees because our technology is outpacing the number of students who are learning about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Good luck with your journey to the USA for college – keep reading my blog to learn more about STEM fields and also how you can enjoy college life here in the USA!Reply ↓Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
